Fumaric Acid

富马酸单位酸度高于其他大部分酸化剂。它是一种白色结晶粉未或颗粒,具有果味。富马酸具有较好的抑菌作用。它几乎不吸湿,可防止粉状混合物因湿气而结块或硬化。因此,富马酸可以在食品、饮料、动物营养、工业、制药和日化领域中替代常用的酸化剂,如苹果酸、柠檬酸和乳酸。

Fumaric acid provides more sourness per unit weight than most other acidulants. It is a white crystaline powder or granules with a fruit-like taste. Fumaric acid has an efficient antimicrobial effect. It is nearly non-hygroscopic, which prevents powdered mixes from caking and hardening due to moisture. As a result, fumaric acid can replace the most commonly used acidulants, such as malic acid, citric acid and lactic acid in food, beverage, animal nutrition, industrial, pharmaceutical, and personal care markets.

Nearly zero hygroscopicity. Fumaric acid does not absorb atmospheric moisture during storage. Dry mix products do not cake or harden during storage when fumaric acid is used as the acidulant. It’s hydrophobic nature also provides improved lubrication during the manufacture of compressed tablets. This results in higher process yields, less tablet breakage, and a smoother tablet surface compared to the use of other acidulants.
